DCW Éditions x Illia Sergeevich Potemine : ISP

As singular as its creator at the same time designer, engineer, plane pilot and painter - Illia Sergeevich Potemine - whose initials he takes over, ISP is a lighting element that shines through its innovative design and design.

Wrapped in a polished brass case, ISP does not use a bulb or switch. The luminous object is simply composed of a translucent tube embellished with an internal led circuit whose luminous intensity varies according to its position in the metal case that contains it.

Thanks to its adjustable resistance placed on a marble base, the object can serve as a bedside lamp as well as a wall lamp. With its small format - the body measures only 37 centimeters for 8 centimeters in diameter - ISP holds in the owner's hand like a magic wand that, when it comes out of its case, bewitches anyone who looks at it.

"One hundred years after the suprematism of Malevich, himself an ex-industrial designer for the railways, Ilia Sergeevitch Potemine invented a new avant-garde: constructivism. Or the supreme degree of purity of objects ", DCW Editions
